Historically the UK has produced huge numbers of talented flute players and musicians, but since Covid getting young players interested in the flute and keeping them motivated is a huge challenge. The future of British flute playing is now at threat and whether you’re a teacher, an ensemble leader, publisher or manufacturer, this fact should concern us all.
