An Altus Flutes Artist & Azumi ambassador, Philippe graduated from the University of Limerick in 2008 with an MA – First Class Honours in Irish Traditional Music Performance and is currently a part time Professor at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Film and TV credits on flutes, whistles and Uilleann pipes include The Wonder (London Contemporary Orchestra), Emma, Wheel of Time, The Imposter, Sanditon, Landscapers, Dark Horse, MTV 5-Star with Shakira, The Proclaimers, Made In Chelsea.
Touring bands: The Wilderness Yet, Crossharbour, Attab Haddad, Dave Munnelly Band, Dizraeli and the Small Gods, Calum Stewart.
Theatre: Come From Away – West End and UK tour, The Pirate Queen, “The Baddies” Joe Stilgoe, 1916.
Philippe is an Altus Artist and Azumi Ambassador, playing an Altus 1607 Flute.
Philippe’s appearance at the Just Flutes Festival 2025 is generously supported by the Altus Flutes.
