Cloudsong is a gifted multi-instrumentalist known for his soulful playing of the Native American style flute, Handpan, Shamanic drums, and African drums. A natural artist and artisan, he has long crafted bespoke items inspired by Native American traditions, sharing his creations with people around the world.
His journey with the Native American flute began as a self-taught path, deepening his lifelong connection to nature and indigenous culture. “I’ve always been drawn to Native American culture since I was a young boy,” he says, “because of its relationship with nature—how by living with it, you begin to understand and become part of it.”
Cloudsong’s music flows directly from the heart, with the flute acting as a voice for his emotions and visions. This heartfelt approach has resonated with many, leading him to offer workshops and performances across the south of England, where he encourages others to explore their own inner sound journeys.
At this year’s Just Flutes Festival, Cloudsong will showcase Red Kite Flutes with a live performance and workshop. He’ll also be sharing his passion for the Handpan, offering visitors a chance to experience its mesmerising tones at the festival stall in the Organ Studio.
